thankful

This week I spent an evening with two dear friends -- one just learning to crochet and the other with a few projects under her belt (or should I say "around her neck," since they are scarves!).  We shared a delicious meal, wonderful conversation (the kind only old friends can have), and crocheted together.  I sat there doing one of my favorite things with some of my favorite people....and was reminded that I have so much to be thankful for!  I may not have a Ferrari, a mansion, or a private plane, but I am very rich.

Hope your world is full of life's gifts this week, as well.

PS -- as you can see, I was working on the Little Jewels afghan -- and I think I'm getting close to finished with the squares!  Very soon it will be time to join!

PPS -- I have a little furry visitor this week who likes to help with photography just like Franny does.  Meet Georgia!

hook:  6.5 mm
yarn:  Lion Brand "Homespun" in a variety of colors (see Little Jewels post for listing)
