Manchtantra....well I should begin by telling you what exactly is this. Manchtantra is a yearly inter-department event comes with great excitement and feeling of competitiveness between all the departments. it's like a festival here, festival of great joy and happiness. Students and even teachers are so excited for Manchtantra that you will can't even find seats to sit, you can't even find space to stand. this event has such a vibe , people cheers at their loudest, dances and sing along. Manchtantra starts with 4th oct to 7th oct.
So, Manchtantra started on 4th of October with flash mob at basketball court. Flash mob started with the Basic sciences and agricultural department subsequently followed by department of liberal arts, legal sciences, engineering and technology, pharmaceutical , bioengineering and management sciences. each team was given 15 minutes to show their talent. Everyone was good but I personally think that pharmaceutical ones nailed it. then there is management sciences, these people came with a huge crowd and with a cheering vibe ,but only with vibe. everyone's performance was great. they had great coordination and their efforts were reflecting.
2nd day started with performances of department of Applied sciences & Bioengineering and Basic sciences & agriculture. They had number of performances including dancing, singing and standup comedy. This event was organized at OAT. The venue was so filled with students that you can't even stand. Everyone was so immersed in performances that they were shouting, cheering, laughing, dancing and singing along with performers with their flash lights on. This was such a memorable night with sparkling flashlights and memories.
