Ever since childhood I’ve always had the skills to draw. I
would sketch anything that came to mind and drew just about anything I could. It
was 2016 when I got my first tattoo and realised the procedures behind drawing
the tattoo was nothing I couldn’t handle. I was inspired by the artist who was
working on me who looked so passionate with what he was doing. As an artist I
was fired up and I knew I needed to try this because I needed to share my art
with the world in some way too and tattooing felt right.
What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?
Deeper inspiration came from the place I was born and raised
(Marapyane, small village in Mpumalanga) people there are misinformed about
tattoos. I saw this opportunity to lift and educate people specifically there
about tattoos and at the same time it would serve as a platform to base and
grow my business in art.
As a starting business it was slow I had to gain recognition
and validation from clients and at the same time thrive for experience. I
decided to be a mobile artist as I was and still is a full time student it
worked best for me and my clients could be satisfied with getting quality
tattoos in the comfort of their own homes. I had no pressure in running a studio
and studying simultaneously. With patience on client lead to another, hence
today ink deep tattoos.im very passionate about my art and would love to see it
grow as fast as it could get.
Where would you like to see Ink Deep
in the next coming years?
I would love to see ink deep tattoos printed on top of a
shop in some street someday.it has been my biggest dream to own a studio as an artist,
to own an art platform where I can expose my ability at a uniform place of reference.
Get to explore, influence by other artists and their art.recruit and educate
youngsters and the misinformed about tattoos because I offer quality tattoos at
a very reasonable price
